Despite appeals from various quarters, including local authorities, Jarange remains steadfast in his protest, refusing sustenance until his demands are met.

In solidarity with Jarange's cause, Maratha organizations have called for a bandh in several villages across Jalna, Beed, Solapur, and Nashik.
